Where you stand

Breath in. Deeply. Healingly.

The air you breathe is fresh and cool. It smells of grass and dirt and summer. It is not all the same temperature, and as you breathe you can feel in your lungs cool air and warm air created by changes in the wind. Freshness abounds, and even the occasional scent of animals is gentle rather than pungent.

Listen. Softly. Gently.

The sounds you hear are the wind rustling in the warm summer grass, a few cows lowing in the distance, the metal clanking of animal watering troughs, and the perhaps a tractor running in the distance.

Look. Joyously.

The sky is a color of blue that cannot be replicated by paint. The grass is light, bright green. The sun is too bright to look at. The landscape is only enhanced by the farmsteads dotting miles upon miles of countryside.

Feel.

The soft, fresh wind caresses your face. The tall grass tickles your bare legs. The sun warms the top of your head, heating your hair. It makes you feel sleepy and refreshed concurrently.

You are now on top of the pasture hill.

  2. The verse on the color of the sky tells why I am so unable to discribe my most favorite color. It is not human made color it is God made color with many depths and hues all at one time.
