Check out the argyle background! I think I have more fun changing the look of this blog than I have writing on it!
In honor of the new argyle background, I very briefly researched the history of argyle. Apparently, members of the Campell clan from the town of Argyll, Scotland began to wear the argyle pattern in the 1600s. Athough it disappeared for a while, the pattern came back into fashion after World War I in England and later in the U.S. Most commonly, argyle was worn as men's golf wear. However, today in America, argyle is best known as a pattern on girl's and women's socks and on sweaters and vests for both genders. (Most of my information came from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argyle_(pattern).)
Pretty, isn't it?
